Penne with Salmon Perlage

Here is a recipe for salmon penne for 4 people, with the addition of our delicious salmon pearls:


Penne with Salmon Perlage

Ingredients:

  • 400g penne
  • 200g smoked salmon
  • 200ml of cooking cream
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 shot of vodka (optional)
  • Salt to taste.
  • Pepper to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons of Salmon Perlage

Preparation:

  1. Cook the Pasta:

    • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne according to the instructions on the package until al dente.
  2. Preparing the Salmon Sauce:

    • While the pasta is cooking, finely chop the onion.
    • In a large frying pan, heat extra virgin olive oil over medium heat.
    • Add chopped onion and sauté until transparent.
    • Cut the smoked salmon into strips and add it to the pan with the onion. Cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
    • If you use vodka, pour it into the pan and let the alcohol evaporate for a couple of minutes.
  3. Combine the cream:

    • Add the cooking cream to the salmon and stir well. Let simmer for 5-7 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
    • Adjust salt and pepper to suit your taste.
  4. Drain the Pasta:

    • Drain the penne al dente and transfer them to the pan with the salmon sauce.
    • Stir well to mix the pasta with the sauce.
  5. Serve:

    • Distribute the salmon penne on plates.
    • Add a spoonful of Salmon Perlage on each serving for an elegant and tasty finishing touch.
