Salmon Penne with Salmon Perlage

Here's the recipe for salmon penne for 4 people, with the addition of our delicious salmon pearls:


Salmon Penne with Salmon Perlage

Ingredients:

  • 400g of penne
  • 200g smoked salmon
  • 200ml of cooking cream
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 shot of vodka (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (optional)
  • 4 tablespoons of salmon perlage

Preparation:

  1. Cooking the Pasta:

    • Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne according to the package instructions, until al dente.
  2. Prepare the Salmon Sauce:

    • While the pasta is cooking, finely chop the onion.
    • In a large skillet, heat the extra virgin olive oil over medium heat.
    • Add the chopped onion and fry until transparent.
    • Cut the smoked salmon into strips and add it to the pan with the onion. Cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.
    • If using vodka, pour it into the pan and let the alcohol evaporate for a couple of minutes.
  3. Add the cream:

    • Add the cream to the salmon and stir well. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Drain the Pasta:

    • Drain the penne al dente and transfer them to the pan with the salmon sauce.
    • Mix well to combine the pasta with the sauce.
  5. Serve:

    • Distribute the salmon penne on the plates.
    • Add a spoonful of Salmon Perlage to each serving for an elegant and tasty finishing touch.
