Production & Sustainability
THE ART OF NATURE, THE NATURE OF ART
We cultivate over 26 hectares of privately owned truffle grounds in the Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato regions: a woodland heritage we meticulously maintain using modern forestry techniques, advanced soil management, land mapping and analysis, and truffle ecosystem protection. This green lung has become the centerpiece of our most important and visionary project , unique in Italy: to be the first to guarantee a transparent and traceable truffle supply chain, from spore to table .
In collaboration with the University of Padua and specialized research centers, we enrich our forests with mycorrhized plants in our laboratories—trees that specialize in symbiosis with truffle spores. Our goal is twofold: to create rational and traceable truffle cultivation and to foster the regeneration of a natural environment where the soil and climate conditions favor the development of the Alba White Truffle, still the rarest and most valuable truffle.
Mycorrhizalization of plants, selection of the most suitable soils, protection of forest vegetation and guaranteeing harvesting from company-owned truffle grounds , whose agronomic management occurs in perfect symbiosis with nature.
Past and future come together in Tartuflanghe's vision: a truffle of origin and originality , an authentic and unique expression of the most suitable territory in the world for truffle cultivation.
THE SUSTAINABLE VISION
Our commitment to forestry and protecting the natural habitats of the Alba White Truffle translates into concrete sustainability measures for our production process. All our production facilities are powered by a photovoltaic system, and the remaining purchased energy comes exclusively from renewable sources.
100% RENEWABLE ENERGY
Our energy supply comes from 100% renewable sources.
